The Semper Sound Band
The Semper Sound Band is made up of Veterans, Active Duty military, and Wounded Warriors. This band is a music therapy band run by Resoundind Joy, here in San Diego. In 2013 Brent Asten was volunteering to give guitar lessons to wounded warriors on Camp Pendelton as his way to give back to his fellow Marines. It was while he was there volunteering that he was introduced to the "Semper Sound Band," and joined up with the Band for the 2014 season.

Belly Up Tavern
Playing with theSemper Sound band for the 2014 season brought on some great opportunities and some great shows; including the Belly Up Tavern as seen on the PBS television series, also being featured in the Union Tribune newspaper, as well as playing the USS Midway for the first time for NBC 7 on Veterans Day.
